Alan Shearer believes Mohamed Salah will get what he wants and will sign a new contract with Liverpool.

Salah has been in high form for Liverpool this season, having scored 23 goals in 26 appearances in all competitions for Jurgen Klopp’s side. The Reds have extended the contracts of several players in recent months, but Salah has yet to put pen to paper on a new deal.

And recently, speaking about his future at Liverpool , Salah revealed he was not overly demanding when negotiating: “I want to stay, but it’s not for me to decide. It’s in their hands. They know what I want. I’m not asking for crazy stuff.”

Salah is holding the reins in negotiations.

Former player Alan Shearer simply said that Liverpool must renew with Salah: “What he has done and achieved at Liverpool is amazing. I can’t think how they can let him out. go or sell him. I don’t think it should or can happen.”

“He knows his value to Liverpool. And he’s in a very solid position. The longer he waits, the stronger Salah becomes because his contract is coming to an end. They can’t let him go. nothing. He’s going to want a lot of money. I think he’ll get what he wants in the end.”
