Milan both win

There were two early games in the 33rd round of Serie A last night and early this morning. It is worth noting that both games have the presence of Milan.

In the first round of the 33rd round of Serie A, on the trip to the Spezia Stadium, Inter Milan won with 3 points without too many difficulties. Brozovic and Lautaro Martinez scored in the 31st and 73rd minutes to give Inter a 2-0 lead.

After that, Maggiore on Spezia’s side had a goal in the 88th minute to cut the score to 1-2, making the game more dramatic, but it was all the home side could do. In the final moments of stoppage time, they allowed Inter Milan’s Alexis Sanchez to score the final goal of the game, and the visitors won 3-1.

3 points helped Milan in the green half to temporarily rise to the top of the standings, but only 2 hours later, they had to give up this position to the same city team AC Milan.

In the subsequent game, Milan in the red half also defeated Genoa, a team in danger of relegation in the group, with a score of 2-0. Rafael Leo quickly put the home side ahead in the 11th minute.

And in the remaining minutes, AC Milan’s players always have the initiative. After many missed opportunities, until the 87th minute, Messias Jr. scored a goal to seal the final 2-0 victory for AC Milan.

Inter’s advantage over Milan is that they play one game less than their opponents.

Dybala targets Baggio achievement

In his final days at Juventus, Paulo Dybala is looking to break the scoring record of the legendary Roberto Baggio to make his mark on the team’s history.

Baggio has scored 115 goals in 200 appearances for Juventus and is currently ranked ninth on the list of the greatest goalscorers in Turin. That record currently belongs to Alessandro del Piero, who scored 290 goals for the Zebras.

Meanwhile, Dybala also made 285 appearances for Juventus, scoring 113 goals. Therefore, the Argentine striker only needs to score 3 more goals to surpass the achievement of “God’s Ponytail”. Dybala still has at least seven games to score, including the last six rounds of Serie A and the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final with Fiorentina (April 20).

After seven years at Juventus, Dybala will leave at the end of the season as his contract expires. The Argentine is desperate for one last title before the familiar sleeve of his shirt. The Serie A title is a bit difficult as Juventus are currently six points behind leaders Milan. But the Coppa Italia is possible when Juventus beat Fiorentina 1-0 in the first leg.

Dybala is currently Juventus’ top scorer this season, with 13 goals in all competitions (8 in Serie A). However, with the 28-year-old striker dead in the last seven or eight games in Serie A, Dybala’s up-and-down form will make it difficult for the player to beat Roberto Baggio’s results.

Rafael Leo on his way out of Milan

The Portuguese striker is fast and mobile and has excelled in Milan’s attack. This is shown through impressive statistics. Specifically, the 1999-born striker has scored 12 goals (8 goals and 4 assists). Therefore, Leo has been hailed by fans as the new Mohamed Salah of Serie A.

Another thing to know is that Leo’s current contract with Milan expires on June 30, 2024. In fact, BLD Milan have also taken steps to keep Leao when contacted with his representatives to discuss the future of the Portuguese forward.

It is worth noting that if the contract is renewed, Milan is also expected to give Leo a salary of up to 4 million euros per year. However, all of the Rossoneri’s efforts have yet to yield concrete results. According to “Repubblica”, the reason for such a stalemate is that the salary of 4 million euros per season offered by the Rossoneri is no longer enough to meet the requirements of Leo’s representatives.

It is all the more remarkable when Leo is currently closely sought after by many of the top teams in the Premier League and La Liga. To avoid losing a pillar like Gianluigi Donnarumma, Hakan Calhanoglu and soon Franck Kessie, BLD Milan recently announced that they are ready to push Leao for €90m this summer.
