Paulo Dybala joined Roma on a free transfer this summer after ending his contract with Juventus. The striker, born in 1993, has a three-year contract with the Italian capital.

Juventus negotiating loan deal for Werner

Juventus are negotiating a loan deal with Chelsea for Timo Werner, according to Italian media. Juve’s number one priority remains Morata’s return, but Atletico won’t accept lowering Morata’s price below 20 million euros, so Juve looked for other options.

Werner clashed with coach Tuchel and was in poor form. Chelsea were ready to push away. Despite an interest in using the German striker as a backup to Dusan Vlahovic, Juve do not want to pay the loan fee but only part of Werner’s salary.

Dutch Players Association criticises Barcelona

Barcelona have reached an agreement to sell Frenkie de Jong to Mourinho this summer, but the Dutchman does not want to leave Camp Nou, in part because the team owes him a whopping €17m in wages.

De Jong didn’t get enough salary, but Barcelona kept buying rookies this summer. The Blaugrana has announced the service of four new signings: Andreas Christensen, Frank Casey, Rafinha and Robert Lewandowski.

Not only that, but Barcelona has also been criticized for forcing De Jong, forcing the player to leave, and if he stays, his salary will be reduced by 50%. There has been a lot of criticism for Barca’s behaviour towards De Jong.

Evgeniy Levchenko, president of the Dutch Players Association (VVCS), called on the World Federation of Professional Footballers (FIFPro) to support De Jong: “I think the association has a duty to protect the players. Now a player is cornered by the club and sent away. FIFPro needs to stand up”.
